Mood's Median Test Extension Data Cancer Patients

ABSTRACT: Analysis of survival data refers to a set of statistical methods for analyzing data between events. One common thing discussed in the analysis of survival data is a function of survival, ie the probability of an event not experienced research unit (survive) longer than a time. Survival function can be estimated using nonparametric methods. There are several estimator in survival data. Some of them are estimated by the point estimate and there is also the estimation function. The median estimator is one that can be estimated with a point estimate. Median easier estimated for the data pattern deviated or not symmetrical like the survival data. So the easiest estimated median than other parameters in the survival data. Mood median test is a nonparametric approach with a simple formula that is designed to test the equality of the median for the data uncensored. Additionally, this test can also be used in the data with a small sample. Mood median test was developed further with the median extension Mood test for survival data. End statistical test is the weighted sum of Chi-square statistics from the contingency table further p-value is estimated based on the assumption that the end of the test statistics can be approximated by Chi-square distribution with median null hypothesis is the whole group together.
