EFFECT OF HEALTH PROMOTION WITH SLIDES AND LAEFLETS IN CHANGING OF KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDE TO CERVICAL CANCER AND HPV VACCINATION IN SMA 3 YOGYAKARTA
ABSTRACT: Background: In Indonesia, cancer is in fifth position of cause of death. Indonesia, the country that has population of 89.07 million women aged 15 yeas old and older that had risk of developing cervical cancer. 2686 prevalence of HPV types and HPV test positively in a population-based sample aged of 15 - 17 years old. Aim: To identify the effect of health promotion with slides and leaflets in changing in knowledge and attitude to cervical cancer and HPV vaccination in SMA 3 Yogyakarta. Method: this research is a quasi-experimental design used and was one group pre-test - post-test counseling. Sample consists of 71 female students. The data obtained from questionnaire to assess knowledge and attitude. The data analyzed using Wilcoxon test. Result: Based on the study there is an effect of health promotion to the level of knowledge and attitude with p-value 0.000 (p<0.05). Conclusion: There was an increase of knowledge and attitude score of cervical cancer and HPV vaccination of female student in SMA 3 Yogyakarta.
